Stretch
Marks
When
I was pregnant with my son I remember being worried about
everything...Am I doing this right? Eating enough? Eating too much?
Drinking enough water? Etc. I also remember having a shallow concern...will I
get those horrible, dreaded stretch marks (also called striae gravidarum) ???? I knew it was a possibility
and if it was meant to be it was meant to be but there were things I
could do to help prevent them.
- Gain enough weight to have a safe
pregnancy but not too much because my skin would "stretch"
- Make sure to stay hydrated
- Make sure to use lotion on my
belly,
hips, thighs, breasts and butt morning, noon and night. The cream I
used and loved was Bella
Mama Melly Butter.
Don't
worry if you get stretch marks. They will be ugly at first due to the
pink or reddish pigment but they will eventually fade and they are
worth it in the end.
SPF for
your
Babies and Kids
As you know your childs skin is very sensitive to the suns rays when
they are young. I always put lotion on my son in the morning if I know
we will be heading out to shop or play in the sun. I keep the lotion in
my diaper bag and a small travel tube in my purse to always make sure
that I am prepared.
Here are some other great creams
and lotions for you and your kids.
