How to Groom Your Baby

Everyone loves how a newborn baby smells and how soft their little skin feels. Well, as a parent it is your job to help their skin and bodies stay in great condition by grooming them properly. Here are items that you will need in order to groom your baby.

Your baby doesn't need to be bathed and washed with soap every day because their little skin is so sensitive but when you do wash their body use a bath liquid or foam that has a very gentle formula and it is made specifically for baby skin.
When you wash your baby's hair you will need a tearless shampoo. The last you want to do is frighten your baby in the tub by getting shampoo in their eyes and hurting them so make sure it is tear free.
Baby oil can be used to help cure cradle cap that some babies experience in the beginning of infancy.
Always have a diaper rash cream ready in case a rash appears. Creams like Resinol work great and they can be purchased at any pharmacy just ask the pharmacist for it.
If you take your kids temperature rectally you will need Vaseline or petroleum jelly. Taking it rectally may not sound like fun but it is actually easier than trying to take it any other way.
Wipes are great not only for changing diapers but for also sanitizing little hands, wiping noises, cleaning counters or tables where your child will be sitting and much more.
A baby's nails will grow very quickly so you will need a set of baby nail clippers to keep them short, otherwise they will scratch up their little face. Make sure they are made for baby nails to help prevent excess cuts.
A brush and/or comb can come in handy for kids that are born with lots of hair. Use the comb when the hair is wet and tangled.
