Safety Tips for Bath Time:
- Never
leave your child unattended for any reason near sinks, tubs, toilets,
buckets or other containers of water. Empty them immediately after each
use so there is no risk of the child falling into water and drowning.
- Always
watch your litte ones in the bath tub...bath tub rings and baby bath
seats
are not a subsitute for adult supervision.
- Make
sure to always check the bath water temperature with your wrist or
elbow BEFORE placing the child in the tub. Make sure your water heater
temperature is set at 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Keep all toilet lids closed
(will
stop litte ones from falling in face first and stop toys from being
dropped into it), make sure all cabinets and drawers are locked with
child safety locks and all appliances like space heaters, curling
irons, hair dryers, razors etc are put away and out of reach of the
child.
It is best to keep bathroom doors closed when not in use.
