Teach Your Children a Few Words: Baby Sign Language
There are many reasons for wanting to learn
sign language. Some of these include:
# Making the most of you communication with a
hearing impaired family member?# Just to be able to communicate with
hearing impaired people in general?
# Perhaps you are presently working with
people that are hearing impaired?
# Maybe you would like to become a sign language
interpreter?
# You would like to become more involved in
the hearing impaired community?
Have you ever watched a baby wave bye-bye or
point to their mouth when they are hungry, or have your seen a little
one point to his nose when it needs to be wiped? These are all symbols
of communication, in other words, sign language. They are communicating
to you what they want and are expressing it without speech. There are
many reasons that sign languages have been introduced into a child's
life. Most of the time we as parents don't think about sign language or
teaching the language to our children if they are not hearing impaired.
Today there are many individuals and parents who have found sign
language can be helpful to communicate with their child as they are
growing up whether they are hearing impaired or not.
There are several tips in the following
article on how to learn sign language. Most of these tips
will focus on the hearing impaired, but remember anyone can learn sign
language to help boost their communication skills overall.
Teaching sign language to a baby is quite easy
and can be a very enjoyable experience. Infants use a different part of
their brain for signing than speech and they also develop the muscles
in their hands before those which are required for speech thus enabling
them to sign successfully before speaking.
Research has shown that signing babies
experience less frustration due to the fact of being able to
communicate their needs and wants to their parents. In addition to this
there are many other advantages of teaching sign language to your
infant. Research shows that being multilingual expands cognitive
processes and intellectual skills as well as it boosts the lingual
developments of an infant. So in fact as opposed to the existing myths
regarding sign language delaying speech in a child, signing children
actually speak sooner than those who do not.
Children who sign, has shown stronger lingual
development and higher IQ results (10-12 points) than those who do not
sign. Chances are your baby already knows some signing gestures such as
waving bye-bye and clapping when she/he is happy. Once you have decided
to teach signing to your infant, start with a few gesturesWith baby
sign language, babies learn quickly how to match a particular sign with
a word or object. As they progress they are able to not only sign what
they want but they also learn how to communicate how they are feeling.
This will help them to increase their creative use of language. Soon
they will develop signs of their own that are particular to you and
them. There are various methods by which you can learn to sign with your
child -- no prior knowledge is needed, so learning along with your baby
is part of the fun! It is important to remember to say the word when
introducing any signs to your baby and to use the signs consistently -
both in the home and outside it. Also, try to familiarize anyone who
cares for your child with the signs they are using. Some people like to
invent their own signs to use with their babies, whereas others prefer
to use conventional signs based on formal sign language -- the
advantage of using these is that they are recognized by a wide group of
people. There are many books, DVDs and flashcards available, based on
formal signing that make learning this new skill both simple and
enjoyable.Teaching sign language to a baby that suffers from
deafness can mean a head start in winning this battle against absence
of sound. Remember that loss of hear can, in many cases frustrate the
individual, especially if he was not sufficiently prepared and you
would not want to send your child with more problems than he already
has in the world.

Improve Fertility Is Easy If You Avoid Doing These Things
There are lots infertile couples anxiously
seeking to improve fertility from either their doctors,
relatives, friends, media, internet, books, etc. But there are some
areas I think you should know if you want to get pregnant fast. Let's
talk about our lifestyle. You should not be stressful over your life,
work and even the thought of conception. In order to keep your hormones
imbalanced, stress may be one of the troublemakers with conception.
This often leads to mild depression that may hurts your fertility
ability thus making it tough to conceive successfully. You can improve
your fertility, provided you and your partner can learn how to adapt
and adjust your stress levels. Productivity and activity will help you
to seriously reduce stress, as long as you are doing something which
makes you feel happy and improves your quality of life. The next best
thing you should avoid is complacency. Early treatment offers the best
chance of success. If there are signs of reduced fertility, couples can
make a more informed decision regarding when they would like to try to
conceive based on their individual fertility chart.
What about foods? Are there specific foods to
avoid in order to improve fertility. Try to avoid pasteurized milk
(prolonged use of which has been shown to be a contributing factor to
infertility, overcooked meats; cooked eggs; refined white starch,
especially white flour. Instead, try to eat carrot, beet root, cucumber
juice: the best blend for cleaning and alkalizing the kidneys, sexual
organs and sexual glands - all of which are influenced by kidney
function and condition; 10 oz/3 oz/3 oz, 2 pints daily. Asparagus:
contains aspartic acid, an amino acid that neutralizes toxic wastes in
the bloodstream and eliminates them through the kidneys. Bee pollen: a
potent stimulator of sexual hormone production in men and women; 3-6
capsules daily. There is raw egg yolk which is rich in organic
lecithin, that can build up strong semen quality; consume twice a day
mixed with carrot juice. Bananas: rich in tryptophan, a vital amino
acid involved in nerve function, but also vital for fertility in both
men and women; chronic tryptophan deficiency often causes infertility
in men and women. Wheat germ oil: rich in organic vitamin E, essential
for production of sperm and ova; 2 tsp daily, one after breakfast and
one after dinner. Other beneficial foods: raw spinach; celery; pumpkin
seeds; sunflower seeds; raw fish (sashimi).
Do not smoke, consume alcohol, drugs and
caffeine which trying to conceive (an while being pregnant and breast
feeding). It is better to stay away from these toxic pollutants. Low
sperm counts or poor sperm motility may be due to environmental toxins
such as chemicals, radiation, drugs, heavy metal exposure, cigarette
smoking, excessive alcohol use, street drug use and pollution. Obesity
is managed properly can surely improve your fertility, thus increasing
the chances of conception. Nearly 10% of all couples in the United
States are affected by infertility—more experts are pointing the finger
at another growing phenomenon among the nation’s population: obesity.
The rates of obesity in America are rising; in 2004, 33% of American
women were defined as medically obese. Obesity results in an increased
production of estrogen; this hormonal imbalance in turn interferes with
ovulation, which of course, is the basis of successful
conception.Ovulatory
disorders are the leading cause of female infertility, resulting in the
disruption of hormones, menstrual cycles, and conception. Approximately
15% of such disorders are linked to weight disorders, mainly being
overweight and obese.High estrogen levels associated with obesity can
also result in pre-cancerous transformations (usually reversible) in
the uterus.
How to treat obesity?
Try not to consume foods that are high in
saturated or trans fats or high sugar content foods. Take in more whole
grains, vegetables, fruits and foods with rich sources of protein. Of
course, exercise daily. Even moderate forms of exercise, such as
walking or low-impact aerobics, can lead to healthy weight loss gastric
bypass surgery. Many people who are obese turn to surgery in order to
reduce their appetites. In conclusion, I hope these things I mentioned
and you should avoid are sufficient enough for you to increase your
chances of pregnancy. Also, with proper planning, I am sure you can
have the chance to have the healthiest baby in your arms.

Why Buy A Baby Sling?
Unless you have fully experienced the
marvelous value of carrying your newborn "hands free," you will never
know what you are overlooking. From the beginning of time, mothers of
newborn infants have been occupied with other day-to-day
responsibilities that often required the use of their hands. Because a
newborn human demands to have the need to be nurtured met in a very
persistent way at times, the new parent has few choices: let the baby
cry it out until he or she either fell asleep or reached the
realization that crying was not going to produce the desired nurturing,
put off the work at hand in order to tend to the baby's needs and wants
until the baby was ready for a nap, or incorporate the physical contact
into the work at hand.
Somewhere along the way, western civilization got away from the use of
baby slings, scarves, and carriers that worked to keep the baby close
to his or her mother's body without paralysing the mother from being
able to accomplish her many daily duties. Luckily, with the advent of
the internet, women have started opening their eyes to some of the
marvelous ideas that were lost with the introduction of strollers,
bouncy seats, car seats, and bassinets.
There are various products that facilitate hands free physical
nurturing of a baby: front carriers, backpacks, scarves, and baby
slings.
Baby front carriers, which are
comprised of two shoulder harness straps that typically criss-cross the
back and support a fabric seat that the baby is {slid|slipped} into
with his or her feet hanging. In this type of carrier, the baby can
face toward either the front or the back and is usually held very close
to the adult's chest.
Backpacks are usualy used for a slightly older baby that has excellent
neck control and is sitting up fairly well without support. Baby
backpacks typically have a tough aluminum or plastic frame. The benefit
is that the heavier baby is more easily held with the stronger back
muscles. Although good the backpack has your baby in a position were it
is not easy to give him attention.
A baby scarf is a long fabric that is wrapped around the baby and the
shoulders and back of the mother. The swathing effect keeps the baby
close to the warmth, sound, and contact of his or her mother. Once a
baby begins to get a little older and more active, a scarf is more
difficult to use as the baby often works them loose, rendering them
less safe.
A baby sling is perhaps the most versatile of the
alternatives available for hands free carrying of a baby because of the
ease in positioning the baby in accordance with his or her size,
strength, development, and immediate needs. A baby can lie down in a
cradled position, discreetly breastfeed (Yes. With practice, this too
can take place HANDS FREE!), sit up either facing the adult, facing
away from the adult, sitting on the hip of the adults, or even on the
back. The disadvantage of the sling is that it will take patient use to
get comfortable with as your baby grows. Take the word of somebody who
has experience, your perseverance will pay off and you'll be able to
use your baby sling until he is four or five years old.
Take the time to inquire which hands free baby carrying method is best
for you and your family. The value and peace of mind you get will be
immeasurable!

Tips On Managing With Your First Child Birth
Surviving child birth, especially if it is
your first child, might be something that enters your mind. If you
haven't experienced it then how can you explain your feelings and
concerns about child birth until it is all over. But if you get
pregnant, you should be thankful. Every woman
will experience different child birth but you should be relieved that
there are helps that can prepare you to go through this stage.
You have choices when you are pregnant as these should help remove any
fears that you may have. All women have different pain thresholds and
some need to have painkillers, others are adamant they will have the
child naturally. Whatever decision you make regarding this will be
honored, it is your body after all. Just remember, despite a multitude
of views on the subject, it is only yours that really means anything.
There is always a doctor who can help you with any concerns you may
have. For husbands, if you are the one who get her pregnant, then at
least you can do is to
support your wives during their pregnancy.
For the health of your baby, you want to get as close to full term as
possible. You need to listen to your doctor and make sure you keep all
of your appointments. While premature births are quite common and
baby's today have a greater chance of survival, it can damage their
health. The best way to reduce the risk of a premature baby I listen to
your doctor in addition to eating and living healthily. You may have
ignored your doctor before but in this instance, if they say rest more,
just do exactly as they say. There are always things you can do to
learn more about child birth including going to local classes held at
your hospital, where you will be taught more about the birth itself,
how to reduce pain and make the birth less stressful for the baby. I
assume that you can ask them about ways to get pregnant when you are ready for the
second baby. Today, you can check out many resources that can assist
you and I believe these classes can help you to deal with your concerns.
Child birth remember, has a beautiful outcome and that is a small baby,
making everything else pale into insignificance. This will probably be
the most important event in your life and bringing a new life into this
world should not be something to regret.

What Should You Expect When You Get Pregnant With Assisted Fertility
Treatments
Normally the fertility clinic will want to
stay in touch regularly with you to enable them to carry out checks to
guarantee your baby's development is healthy. Not all clinics come with
an after-care service so you have to arrange yourself prior to your
delivery.
Some women need some time to get used to the fact they're going to have
a child after a successful fertility treatment so don't concern
yourself if, initially, you are not as happy about as you believed you
expected to be. The feelings a woman goes through are normal for many
women when they find out they're having a child, and it doesn't matter
if they get pregnant naturally or via fertility treatment.
Generally there isn't any physical difference from someone who is
expecting naturally to someone who depends on fertility
treatment, although they may find it more emotionally challenging.
There may be some occasions where you require additional scans or
meetings at the pregnancy clinic. Often this is because they have had
past problems with miscarriages or health problems for instance.
Another possible reason could be the mother-to-be's age because the
older you get the more likely complications can occur when trying to get pregnant.
Ever since this type of treatment has been available over a million
babies have been born using advanced insemination methods such as In
Vitro Fertilization for example, and there is a good chance that you to
will give birth to a healthy baby. That is not to say there won't be
any problems because every medical treatment and every pregnancy have
some risks, even those conceived by normal means, but thankfully most
of the problems are negligible. You would prefer to learn how to get pregnant naturally. So enjoy your
pregnancy as much as possible and relax even though it's not that
simple.

Acid Reflux And Pregnancy
Keeping Pregnant
Women Away From Acid Reflux Dilemma
Many women tend to experience heartburn symptoms when they are still
carrying their babies, and this happens for several reasons. An
increase in hormones during pregnancy, is one of the most common
factors. The occurrence of this will result in softening the ligaments
which function is to keep the lower esophageal sphincter (LES) firmly
closed. When the LES rests at unsuitable periods, tendency is, this
will let the gastric acid and food to reflux back to the esophagus and
throat.
Another reason they experience heartburn during pregnancy is from the
changes occurring within her body as the baby begins to develop and
grow, increasing pressure on her stomach. Therefore, the stomach
contents are forced right into the LES, and then to the esophagus.
Fortunately, there are several ways pregnant women can help to elevate
some of the painful discomforts from acid reflux. The following is some
good advice, although this may not remove the heartburn totally.
1. Refrain from foods already known to be causes of
heartburn. For example: spicy foods, citrus fruits or juices,
mustard, tomatoes or tomatoes base products, fatty food, deep fried
food or anything with a lot of seasoning in them. Try to refer to
medical specialists to know the complete list of foods to avoid Acid
Reflux.
2. Get rid of drinks that have caffeine, like tea, coffee, and soda. By
drinking too many of them your LES will relax and that will cause acid
to go up into the esophagus.
3. Always avoid alcoholic beverages. Alcohol is similar to caffeine, in
respect to how it effects the LES, both will trigger the onset of
heartburn.
4. Avoid eating large meals. You will find that by eating smaller meals
more often through out the day will be a big help.
5. Don’t eat your meal too fast. Make sure to chew your food well and
take your time when eating, as this will also help cut back on the
amount of heartburn you experience.
6. Make sure to rest after eating and avoid doing too much activity on
a full stomach.
7. Drink plenty of water through out the day and in fact, women that
are pregnant need to not only drink at least eight to ten glasses a
day, they should drink them throughout the day. Because if this is the
stomach will expand and the LES will be under more pressure causing it
to open when it shouldn’t. Hence, it is really recommended to drink
more water and other fluids in between meals.
8. When sleeping elevate the head of the bed to be at least six to
eight inches high. Try to sleep with an elevated head and shoulders
through a wedge pillow. Through this, the gravity will work to keep the
acids in your stomach in their place; in the stomach, not in the
esophagus. You can go online or speak with your doctor to find other
methods that will help minimize nighttime
heartburn.
9. Don’t wear tight fitting clothes. If you wear clothes that are too
tight around the stomach area, than that can trigger heartburn as well.
10. When bending, do it at the knees, not at the waist. This will avoid
in creating too much pressure in the stomach.
11. Don’t slouch; rather sit erect in a relaxing chair.
12. Keep an eye on your weight too, because too much fat around your
stomach will put undue stress on it. As a result, this will force
stomach contents throughout the LES and to the esophagus. You should
always follow your doctors advice on the recommended eating guidelines.
13. Avoid all types of cigarette smoke. Medically speaking the causes
of cigarette smoke are very harmful to pregnant women and is one of the
known causes for heartburn too. As you follow these tips, you will have
a much healthier experience during your pregnancy.

Creative Potty Training Ideas
Many parents approach potty training with the
same enthusiasm they would have for gum surgery; it’s a necessary evil
to be tolerated. It doesn’t have to be all drudgery though if you use a
little creativity to make it interesting for everyone.
When To Get Creative
Certainly, if you are already in the potty
training process and things aren’t going especially well, getting
creative is better than getting frustrated. You don’t have to wait
until you’re at that point though. Using some creative ideas to
introduce the potty training concept to your child can prevent
resistance.
Introducing the Idea
If potty training is your child’s idea (or he thinks it is) the entire
process becomes easier. A few thoughtfully planted comments about big
kids using the potty and little kids wearing diapers can spark your
child’s desire to be one of the big kids and have him asking you to
help him learn to use the potty.
Creating Ownership
Let your child be part of the potty training planning process.
Take him shopping with you and let him choose his own big boy underwear
and stickers to use on his potty training success chart if you use one.
Rewarding Success
Some parents are reluctant to give rewards for potty training success
because they feel the child is only doing what he’s supposed to do
anyway. Others have great success with potty training charts where a
child places a sticker each time he uses the potty with a small reward
being earned for every few stickers. Rewarding children for good
behavior reinforces the behavior. Rewards don’t have to be candy or
snacks and are better if they aren’t. A trip to the park, an extra
story at bedtime, special recognition for an accident-free day all work
to motivate the child to do well again.
By spending a little time thinking of creative ways to potty train your
child, you make the process more interesting and less of a chore for
everyone.

When is Swearing Bad in Children and Toddlers
Parents are constantly correcting and guiding
their children. Sometimes the advice parents receive is to ignore
something and it will go away. This is usually recommended when
as child is acting in a certain way specifically to get
attention. Unfortunately society will judge our children as soon
as they open their mouths, so when is swearing bad and when is it
simply an attention tactic?
When your toddler first starts to speak you try to teach them manners
and common courtesies. In these early days you are controlling,
often without noticing the words which they are absorbing and also the
way they form their sentences. These are important times.
Unfortunately a toddlers absorption is not limited to your and your
families voice. If there is something you don’t want them to learn, it's
a guarantee that they will repeat it.
When is swearing bad? As
part of the guidance which we offer our children we correct their use
of words and when they say something we don’t like we tell them and
hope that they will respect our wishes. If your child understands
that you don’t like the words they are using and they continue to
batter you with them, then the swearing is becoming a problem. It
is not just the words which are the problem. Why is your child
doing this? Are you fuelling the behavior by pointing it
out? You can always try the ignore method and hope that they get
bored and stop.If you take this path there are some things to bear in
mind. Firstly, you cannot walk around with a banner on your top
explaining what you are doing, so when other parents do not hear you
admonish your child for their swearing they may think that you are
condoning it. So now you will have to deal with your discomfort
at your childs swearing and the disapproving looks of other parents. The
other issue you might have to address is that your child may notice
your discomfort at other people reaction and this may fuel them to
continue their mission.
When is swearing bad enough to
discipline your child? If you are have tried to reason and
ignoring it, then your remaining options are fairly limited. This
is the consequence game which every parent ends up playing.
Firstly you have to tell you child what you intend to do, then you need
to see it through. The consequence has to be suitable. It
is often helpful to get other parents views on consequence, but at the
end of the day you must choose something which will work with your
child, and no one knows your child better than you do. Remember
that you will need to choose a consequence which you can also apply
when out and about.
Finally, once you have the swearing under control you still cannot
quite breathe a sigh of relief. Your child still has one gun in
the arsenal, swearing at nursery or school when you are not around. No
mother wants to be taken aside to be advised that their kid is swearing
badly at other children. Here you will need to follow the school
or nurseries guidelines and keep them informed on how you are dealing
with this in the home. Together you will solve this.
So is
swearing bad? Definitely, but allowing it to go
unchecked and snowball out of control is worse.

How I Get My Kids Away From The Television
All my kids talk about getting every year for
Christmas is video games if they don't go downstairs and find Gears of
War 2 under our new flocked
christmas tree I do not know how they will survive. It makes me a
little nuts since I do all I can to get my kids outdoors. I would
prefer to get them something like new football equipment or bikes,
really anything they can do outside. Alas, I suppose boys will be boys.
Arguing with the boys over "appropriate" lengths of time is just too
much work.
That being said I've tried to find some
tricks for my family and video games. With a few techniques I try to
get them outside more. First off I limit their time every day to one
hour (they can earn more). I find placing a limit is important because
then they know that anything above that is a privilege. To be more fair
I've allowed them some methods of earning more television time. That
leads me to talk about trick number two. They can get more television
time by either doing chores or spending time outside. The chores is
nice for me and generally has a pretty good payoff for them. I set it
up so it ends with one hour of chores earning one hour of television
time.
The number two way they get more television
time is by spending some of their time outside. When they go outside
and play nice I allow them 15 minutes of gaming to every hour of
outside time. Like I say this isn't a huge payoff, but I also don't
really think asking them to be outside is a huge thing to ask. That
option works the best of their long Saturdays where they spend the
majority of the day outside anyway. They spend all day outside on
Saturdays and earn themselves a couple of hours in front of the
television. Realistically a night of playing games and watching movies
isn't so bad after a full day outside.
Anyway I guess that I don't mind a game or
two under the artificial flocked christmas tree this year if it
has the effect of getting my brats outside and getting some stuff done
around the house for me. I hope they like their games, because I am
going to like my "gift" of a little more control around the house.

The Boppy
Ok ladies if you are going to breastfeed I suggest buying a Boppy
Pillow with Soothing Fleece Slipcover - Big Curvy.
It is very helpful to you when you are nursing and trying to
comfortably support your little one. It is also great for woman who are
not breastfeeding. My son loved to lay on it on his tummy and lay on it
on his back because it lifted him off the floor and I knew he was
safely surrounded by cushion if he happened to roll one way or another.
The boppy have many different slipcovers to choose from so you can find
one to match your nursery theme or style.

Getting the
Right Baby Change Bag Will Make Your Life Easier
For such a small person, there is a lot of gear
that needs to be taken when you leave the house with a baby. From toys
to bottles to fresh nappies, it is key to have all the essentials when
you goout with your child. Having a baby change bag can make this
process much easier. Once you purchase the bag, keep it stocked with
all the necessities at all times so there will be no need to repack the
bag for every quick trip.
Each baby
change bag is different, so it is important to find the
right one for you. There are several key features that make traveling
with your baby simple.A bag which has a portable, folding up change mat
and separate sections for different types of items will make
organization a breeze. Also, having a separate section for soiled items
or outfits will prevent them from coming into contact with clean items.
You should also look for a bag that is simple to clean. Many have
interiors that are easy to wipe down and sanitize.
There are many shapes, sizes, and styles of baby change bag
available. There are bags that look like backpacks or messenger bags, or
ones that are specifically designed to fit in a pushchair. Backpack
versions are very convenient when you are on hikes or walking around
locations such as the mall, because they will leave your hands free to
carry your child or other items. They can also be very stylish, so you
can choose a bag that matches your personality.
Before going to the store to buy a baby
change bag, make a list of all the items that you will be
regularly carrying with you. If you are becoming a parent for the first
time, consult with other moms or dads to see if they have any
suggestions that you missed from your list. Some examples of items
include spare outfits in case your child vomits, fresh diapers, and
baby wipes. It is also helpful to keep some sort of distraction handy,
in case your baby does not like having his or her diaper changed.A
small toy, especially if it makes noise, is an excellent choice. Buying
a baby change bag as a gift for a new mom can be tricky. Check to see
what stores they have registered at and look if there is a bag that
they specifically want. If not, try to find out what brand of stroller
they are using. Then you can find a bag which is designed specifically
for use with it. Keep your friend’s style in mind as well, because it
never hurts to get them something fashionable and cute.
Since modern dads will frequently carry the baby change bag as well,
keep an eye out for unisex items. Buying
a bag that is pink or floral print may not be his top
choice. There are many bags which a man would feel comfortable carrying
when he is out with his baby.

Why Doctors Are Not
Telling These Top 5 Tips On Fertility Secrets
Fertility secrets often take the form of common
sense knowledge that has been removed from general circulation because
of the developments in medical science and in the expansion of medical
knowledge. Some fertility secrets are so obviously ordinary that people
fail to pay attention to them immediately, because sometimes people are
more concerned with modern ways of doing things, such as immediately
going to a specialist and getting prescriptions for the latest drugs
that would induce pregnancy immediately. Often, the result of this kind
of approach is failure. Why is that? Well for one, medications that
target the fertility of the woman would only work optimally if the
woman is in good condition also. If a person is obese and very sickly,
then no amount of hormone inducing medications would help that person
conceive a healthy offspring at any time. We must approach this problem
from ground up. Now, the following fertility secrets can help you in
conditioning your body to conceive a baby. Follow these fertility
secrets parallel to whatever routine or medication you already have, so
that the effects of these could be doubled.
1st fertility secret
Getting daily exercise is your 1st fertility tip. If you are already
overweight, obese, overly fat, then this step would definitely help you
in your endeavor of conceiving a child. You can do aerobics from
between five to twenty minutes a day and this number may be divided
into several exercise sessions. The most important thing is you begin
your exercise routine and stick to it. This would help in strengthening
your body, and strengthening even the muscles that help move the sperm
upwards. It would also help increase your immune system, fighting off
the small infections that routinely come about. This would ensure
maximum benefits for your body.
2nd fertility secret
The second fertility secret is to have sexual intercourse regularly.
This is already common sense. How can you conceive if you do not do it
often enough? Although you have a fertility referring calendar with
you, you still have to make an effort between you and your partner for
any time. Doing it regularly can also contribute to the further
strengthening of your relationship.
3rd fertility secret
The third fertility secret is to take vitamin supplements that boost
the blood quality and the blood circulation in the body and the immune
system, and has cleansing effects on the body. When you take these food
and vitamin supplements, you can be assured that what you are not
getting in the form of the food that you eat, you are still getting
through the pills and capsules that you take.
4th fertility secret
The fourth of our fertility secrets is to take herbal supplements
designed for fertility. Find a good brand, and make sure that you do
your research beforehand. At times, the usual old traditional chinese
medicine (TCM) works best than up to date one, as your body get used to
these.
5th fertility secret
The fifth of our fertility secrets is to make sure that you reduce the
amount of stress in your life. You have to take appropriate stress
management programs if you wants to conceive fast. In conclusion, I
hope these 5 fertility secrets that I have revealed will help you in
improving your fertility levels thus increasing your chances of
pregnancy. Also, with proper planning, I am sure you will have an
opportunity to carry your own baby very soon.

Wouldn't it be nice to send your child to
college for FREE or close to it?? For $29.00 you can have immediate
access to this wonderful tool to help you save and learn how to send
your child to college at little or no cost to you.
Barry Simmons the author of How to
Send Your Child to College for free of Close To It will show
you:
How to unravel the maze of college and
financial aid web sites and show you in a concise, step-by-step manner
how even a person with no savings, no stocks, no bonds, a large
mortgage and large credit card debt can send his child to college with
almost no money.
How college financial aid offices actually
determine what federal aid (college Pell grants, Stafford and Perkins
loans etc.), and state grants will be given out to potential students
so you will know in advance how to prepare yourself to receive the
maximum amount for your child's college education.
Dispel the myth that schools are 'need
blind' and provide, in their own words, how university administrators
discriminate against early admission students looking for college
financial aid, including free grants and scholarships and college
grants for minority students.
Provide you with 4 actual financial aid
offers, that a high school senior received in the spring of 2003, with
college financial aid packages that were significantly different; even
though the schools looked at the same financial information, and tell
you why they're different.
Tell you how Stafford and Perkins loans
that you've received can be forgiven (canceled) years after you've
received them.
Direct you to so many college scholarship
programs that your head will spin. You'll be taken to college
scholarship application sites for every conceivable area you can
imagine. College athletic scholarships, and those for academics,
special needs and college scholarship applications for every
conceivable religion.
You'll also be directed to college grants
and scholarship search engines that will e-mail you when new college
scholarship applications become available and which ones are nearing
their expiration dates so you can quickly apply.
He will tell you 4 financial aid myths that
are commonly accepted as fact and will completely change the way you
think about preparing your finances for your child's education.
He will tell you why a scholarship for college students doesn't
necessarily place money into the students lap. Many colleges make them
disappear, which is why grants for college education funding is
preferred.

Can Today's Children
Be Happy - Without Being Spoiled?
The so-called Baby Boomer Generation grew up with few of the luxuries
most children seem to have today. Some would say that the simpler life
of the 50's and 60's also made for happier children. They had less
consumer products, less TV, and less electronic toys. Can children be
happy in the early part of the 21st century without parents giving them
the world? The answer is an unqualified yes.
Look at today's kids. Cells phones, designer clothes, hand-held games,
unlimited "taxi" service, and much more. How are children being raised
today? Since the boomers did not have any of this, something must be
missing in order to fit in all the new. What?
Then there are the role models. Celebrities, celebrities, and
celebrities. One has to wonder what our youth think when they read all
the "gossip" in the papers and magazines. That is followed by the
nightly TV newscasts highlighting the mess their "hero" is in.
We all want to raise happy, well adjusted, children. If this is the
result you want to achieve, then there will be times when you must say
"No". If too much comes on a silver platter, then how will they learn
to deal with life when they move out? Will you continue to spoil them
after they move out on their own? One parent wrote in to a well known
columnist saying that they finally learned to say no, and now their
married daughter has not returned their calls for 3 months!
If you give your child everything they desire (which in some cases is
just based on what they saw a friend get) you will deprive them of
experiencing the ups and down of life; which could prevent them from
reaching their goals later in life. Disappointment is something that we
all must go through. Better to learn to deal with the facts of
disappointment early in life rather than later.
You have heard the saying - "If you don’t expect it, you’ll never be
disappointed."
"Things" are not where it's at. Values, morals, and the unconditional love that abounds within the family.
That is where it's at. Keep these principles in mind and raising happy children without spoiling them rotten will
be easy.

Why Bouncy Seats
are Great for New Parents?
I
HIGHLY recommend a bouncer to
every new mom I know. My son has the Fisher-Price
Rainforest Bouncer and
he absolutely loves it and so do I! Not only does it calm him when he
is fussy with the vibrating function but it
also allows me to take a shower in peace and rest my arms. When I need
to take a shower I place my son in his
bouncer with the vibrating function and the music on and place him
outside the shower door so I can quickly
shave my legs and wash my hair without being worried about him.
